There are a lot of good foods out there in all price ranges. Many, MANY, threads on foods. Sierra has done well on Canidae. Her coat is soft. It's not grain free but does have a good amount of meat in it without many fillers. I thought he needed about 5# on him. Just have Cheyenne keep doing what she's doing. No long eye contact from her. That is a challenge to dogs unless they know you.

This morning I did the drive by with Cheyenne, he got his cookie and was happy. We did it later after breakfast. Ann did it after that and he went nuts. His issue with Cheyenne is not being able to read her which bothers him, combined with Ann nervousness makes for a mess. They get along fine except for the Cheyenne stuff. The dog will get used to it. The people are harder to train.

People are usually the issue. Give him time and let him spend lots of time with Cheyenne. He's smart.

That's actually not to expensive for food but I think you'll be happier with the results and remember you won't have to feed as much.
