Got this from my trainer who saved her today, but needs to find her a home asap, so if anyone can help, let me know please or contact her.
Please pass the following along. I have worked with Lily and she is an absolutely LOVELY female shepherd. She is white and stunning. As with all German Shepherds she needs an experienced dog-owner's home but she comes with very few issues. She will be a year at the end of March. I have photos of her - many of them - if you wish to see her - just let me know. She is a gorgeous gorgeous dog and will make a wonderful companion for someone. Lily's owner mentions a home with no other dogs. I disagree. This dog, if properly introduced and with good leadership will be fine in a multi dog home. All inquiries, please contact Shannon at 604.812.8802 or shannon@zendogtraining.com Name: Lily-Hunter Breed: Purebred White German Shepherd, AKC Registered Coat: Short White Plush Coat Birthdate: March 29, 2011 Weight: 60 lbs. High energy, very intelligent, extremely loving and affectionate, wants to please, loves to retrieve the ball, devoted to her masters. Lily loves to lie at your feet, and although isn’t allowed in her current masters’ bedroom, would likely love to sleep on or by the bed. She is loving and loyal and likes to be close at all times. Lily is a young beautiful purebred female white German Shepherd with a short plush coat. She is AKC registered, vaccinations up-to-date, spayed, micro chipped. Medical records and AKC papers are available. Lily has attended basic obedience classes, and knows the sit to down, down to sit, stay, heel, down from standing position, up to stand from down position, verbal and hand commands. She is very smart and is a fast learner. Lily has also been trained to sit at the door so that her masters can exit before her and enter before her. Lily is crate and house trained. A secure crate is essential as she is a great escape artist and can squeeze through the narrowest of spaces. Lily will also let you know if she has to go outside by ringing the bell on the door that she usually uses to go out. Lily will sit and wait for the command to eat “OK eat” along with a hand command pointing to food. Lily fractured her pelvis at 4 months of age, which has completely healed as confirmed by the vet. No ongoing treatment is required. Lily’s new master should be a confident, energetic person who projects secure energy. Energetic, playful – loves to play ball, run and leap into the air. Raises front legs to allow master to clip nails and wash paws. No food or toy aggression. Food/toy can be removed or touched at any time. Although Lily has been raised with another dog and is not aggressive with him, she is dominant aggressive (tail high in the air) toward others dogs and strangers and with continuous professional German shepherd corrective training and the right master should be able to overcome this issue. If off-leash to play, it should be in a secured high fenced area with no other dogs. Lily will let you know when she wants to play by dropping the ball/toy into your lap.

Yeah, me too.
I can't believe someone was going to KILL a dog, because they didn't have the patience to tough it out til a new home was found for her... It's not like it's going to take another year! So does the SPCA not take dogs that owners don't want? I thought that was always the first option for people?
