Default Chicago, IL - B&T Adult, Gorgeous Girl here

Breed: German Shepherd w/ pedigree
Male or Female: Female

Spayed or Neutered? Y

Age? 1 yr, 7 months, 1 day

Approx. weight? 78 lbs

Small, Medium or Large Breed? Large

Current on vaccinations and Heartworm test? Yes

Has your dog ever bitten someone? Never, we have a seven month old who thinks it's hilarious to put her hand in her mouth

Good with:

Kids? Yes, w/ the possible exception that any child that's small enough to be knocked over might be in a small space.

Dogs? Yes, she toes the line when in the presence of an alpha but will bully omega dogs

Cats? Yes.

Strangers? Worst guard dog ever.

Reason for Surrender? We have a 7 month old and a one bedroom apartment, the baby was unplanned in the sense that she came so quickly and our other child, Sophia, will tear through the rooms going after tennis balls. When our baby starts walking, it's going to be a little hectic with my wife home alone most of the day.

Health issues? None

Medications? None

What food does the dog eat? Kirkland Lamb (Costco)

OK on leash? Yep, one or two tugs to see how the leash holder will react but she straightens up.

Housetrained? Very much so.

(Please contact me by forum PM if you are interested in the Illinois area for more information. I don't know this person but have been sent this email on a list)

Apparently this girl has found a home! What a nice Christmas for her.

I don't see a "notify" button, or I'd use it as outlined in the guidelines of this section.

It's the black/yellow octagon with the exclamation mark under your avatar.

Yanno, I too, clicked on that, but it's called "Report Post" and when I clicked on that, it says: "Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts. "

It scared me so I didn't use it.

She is gorgeous. I'm glad she found a home, but I sure hope it's a good one. I had my three kids in three years and couldn't have imagined giving up my "first baby".

Don't be scared. Unfortunately, we can't get that text changed (the mods/admins have asked), but that is the notify button that you'd use to get the attention of the mod/s of this forum.
