This beautiful GSD is a 2-3 year old female, deaf, supposedly dumped at the shelter as "revenge" by a spurned boyfriend. A friend of mine from work is willing to transport within the NC/SC/VA area.

Too bad for the BF, but what's to stop the owner from picking this girl up? Lovely sable, and being deaf is not an impediment for a dog.....

I didn't see her listing, just a bunch of lab puppies (very cute, tho). Do we have any way of knowing if she is good with other dogs????

Kennel Inquiry Maybe this link works better... on that first link if you sort the listing by German Shepherd she will pop up!

I don't know much about her. A co-worker helps a lot of deaf rescues get places/transport and saw her listed. She tried to see if I had room to take her temporarily but unfortunately I do not.

Beautiful girl, hope she makes it out. I also don't get that story...how do they knows it is a spurned boyfriend and why didn't the owner come get her? In any case it's too sad

This lovely girl is no longer listed.

I hope she was reclaimed - but the shelter looks like it's slammed with puppies and cats/kittens, so she may have been PTS for space. DharmasMom did you ever hear from SGSR?

I hope she did make it out... I would have taken her. I have a deaf girl as well.. Poor girl.
