Time is of the essence at this shelter - if they are full dogs are generally only given 7 days before they are PTS. This is a very high kill facility and (from what I have heard anyway) not rescue friendly - this beautiful girl is definitely in danger now, she has been "available" since Oct 24th

Can anyone find Petfinder link? I tried to search pet finder for Gwinnett county and could not find shelter. More info would be helpful. She is a GORGEOUS coated black shepherd... hope she finds a home.
Anyone from the area available to check her out.?.sounds VERY urgent..

Yes, i do think there is/was a blk/tan shepherd in the kennel across from her..
Know they are supposed to have their own link.

I'm short on time today and tomorrow or would call shelter...
Anyone???
Please help these guys.....

Karen

OH be still my heart!!
I really have no idea how to arrange transportation (especially from there) but I'd take her in a heartbeat (into our rescue, not for our own dog).

Looks just like my male shepherd. Wish so badly I could take her. I'm in Colorado though. I pray someone gives her a home.

Ditto! I'm in Virginia and Georgia is a long was off...
I'm praying some rescue will grab her up.
I've tried to reach out to the local prisoner/dog program but haven't heard back. They say they get dozens of requests daily for people who want to place their dog so it was along shot at best... Website says if you don't hear from them they can't help....

What a looker.. very unusual..... eyes so sad. She would truly be beautiful in a loving home...
Hope she gets one....

She is so absolutely beautiful. I wish I could take her, but Frieda doesn't like females .

I can go pick her up and help with transport if needed, though.
