I am a male, tan and black German Shepherd Dog.
The shelter staff think I am about 11 years old.
I have been at the shelter since Sep 27, 2011.

Very thin, yes, but he doesn't look 11 years old. Some shelters base their age estimates on the teeth and this can be unreliable - a lot of dogs have worn or broken teeth from chewing rocks, malnutrition, etc. Not saying that's the case here, but he looks more like 5 or 6 to me.
