Here is Daisy's petfinder page:
Petfinder Adoptable Dog | German Shepherd Dog | Pike Road, AL | Daisy ![]() Daisy is our momma dog who had nine puppies in April. She came into the Chilton County Humane Shelter already pregnant and was rescued by GSRCA just about a week before delivery. There was no way we could let her have her babies in a shelter. Afterall, it was not her fault. Shed spent most of her life chained to a tree and when her owner was incarcerated, his mother turned her in. Daisy was such a sweet and caring mother. She trusted us and let us handle her and her pups whenever needed. After the puppies were weaned Daisy was spayed and treated for sarcoptic mange. She was also heartworm postive and is nearing the end of her treatment. Daisy is a petite cream/black/grey gsd weighing about 63 pounds. She still needs to gain a few pounds. Shes a pretty girl with a great personality. She lives with several other large dogs in her foster home and gets along well with them. Daisy is easy to contain in either a crate, house, or yard. But she just loves the house and to be with her people. She loves to be a part of the action and fun. She can also hang out and relax. Despite her neglectful past, Daisy is well-adjusted. She is friendly, outgoing and loving with everyone shes met, including children. She just wants to be given attention and love. She has plenty of love to give back in return. She'll make someone a great addition to their family! *Shes even ok with the house cat.

I don't know how anyone could resist Daisy - she is so adorable, and is even good with her foster family's cat! How cool is that........she's not at risk, but here's a little nudge up anyway.....
