I posted the Facebook link because they took many photos of him and placed them there. The Petfinder link has just two photos.

This shelter director is a personal friend and has German Shepherds herself. She has also just started schutzhund training with her young female, so Sandy can give a fantastic temperament assessment of any GSDs at this shelter.

I will call her today for an update on Damian. They sent 19 dogs to rescue groups on Saturday and I had hoped that he was one of them. Alas, he was not rescued yet.

I can pull and get him started on a transport.

Just called and spoke to Misty at the shelter. Damian has had zero activity on him since he arrived last week. The history is that he was a stray and was found by a couple who then decided to keep him. After three months, they decided that they could not afford his vet care and they brought him to the shelter. Both Sandy (Director) and Misty feel that his skin issue is a flea allergy and that he will need to see a vet about his hips.

Misty reports that he is super sweet, very gentle, calm and laid back. Not vocal either. Just wants to hang out and be with them in the office when they can bring him in.

Please let me know if anyone/any rescue group is interested in him and I will help get him pulled and started on his way to a new life.

Damian is now URGENT at the shelter and has just a little bit of time left. I can help pull and transport if anyone or any rescue is interested in helping him.
