@ Stella's Mom - The family has already promised to continue sending pics and updates on how Gunner is adapting and keep in touch regarding his well being. We think this will greatly help our daughter with accepting this adjustment a little easier. Thanks again for all the wonderful suggestions and support!

I have goose bumps reading this!! He was really pulling at my heartstings and I so badly wanted this to be a happy ending.
So sorry that you have to be going through this but congratulations on a positive outcome

How are you today? I know Gunner was picked up this weekend and I hope both Gunner and you are adapting well. I hope his new family gives him lots of love.
