Petfinder Adoptable Dog | German Shepherd Dog | West Monroe, LA | 57Green

Maybe one year young. A shelter volunteer's FB post, Tuesday evening:
This boy's 7 day hold is up tomorrow. He's been given a couple of extra days as they are hoping someone with lots of patience and 'dog know how' will adopt him. He has likely been mistreated by humans. He LOVES other dogs but he freezes up when you pet him as if he's expecting the worst. He does not need to go to the typical home and will need a home with no small children and with someone willing to give him time to trust. If interested go by and see him and see what you think...tag # is 57Green

The shelter euthanizes daily for space. Only the dogs most popular among adopters have a chance to stay any longer than a couple of days beyond hold time.

Another sweet GSD at one of my favorite shelters (and I've never been there.) Two volunteers work hard to get these guys out! This fellow sounds like he will need an experienced home.....tough in a rural area with a low adoption rate. BUMP!
