Juliet ~ Available Tuesday 8/23 @ 2:20pm ~ Extremely CRITICAL
- German Shepherd - Young Female- Photo 5/5 NCAF Shelter Crew Report 8/19: Juliet is a sweetheart! Very loving and gentle. She is getting her figure back from a previous litter, and is VERY skinny!! Maybe 1-2 years old about 30 lbs ... She could stand to gain 10-15 lbs! ***No Cats! NCAF Shelter Crew Report 8/18: Very frightened and unsure. She was a late arrival and I did not go into the kennel with her, I felt she needed a little time to adjust. Hopefully she will be a bit more relaxed by tomorrow. She is painfully thin. Sehe was named Romeo to start, because of her dark, soulful eyes and because someone said "he" and didn't double check (no intake card was availble yet), but even though a gal and now named Juliet...you fall in love as soon as she looks at you. Note: Stray from Duke's Road This pet is at the Nash County Animal Shelter, Nashville, NC. For more information call the Shelter at 252-459-9855, email scarlett.langley@nashcountync.gov or drop by 1-4pm Monday-Friday. Mornings are by appointment only. The adoption fee is ONLY $20, but does not include anything. For a map/directions, please go to: MapQuest Maps - Driving Directions - Map The Nash County Animal Shelter is a HIGH KILL facility with an open door policy, so all the pets posted are at HIGH risk and URGENT! Due to it's small size (16 dog kennels, 5 cat cages), they euthanize for space. In fact, some of the pets posted may no longer be available. We hope they are adopted or rescued! Owner surrenders can be euthanized upon arrival. Strays have to be held 3 business days for owner reclaim. If not, they may be adopted. The Shelter is the county's animal control facility. Pets are photographed and posted by Nash County Animal Friends (NCAF) volunteers trying to save the pets. We are not affiliated with the Shelter. Our website is Nash County Animal Friends We recommend that your new pet see a vet ASAP. There are no guarantees of the pet's health or temperament. Please be a good pet parent and have your pet spayed or neutered so that pets like this don't end up in the shelter. Thanks!

she is being heavily networked but time is short. she has a sweet little face, and would be a beautiful girl with good care. this pictue is actually better than the other one i saw. she is painfully thin. bless her heart.

Listing is gone
I so hope she got out, but given the kill rate in this place that would truly be a miracle. It is also a GASSING facility - only 39% are euthanized by humane injection. ![]() ![]() ![]() _______________________________________ Susan Anja SchH3 GSD Conor GSD Blue BH WH T1 GSD - waiting at the Bridge

As of today, she is very, very safe and out of the shelter.
Many people coordinated and helped with this girl. I was not one of them personally, but I'm glad people rallied and helped. Already vetted I believe. Hope you find a lot of happiness Juliet at your next destination, and much time to heal. |

Thank goodness!! When I couldn't find her I feared the worst - couldn't stop thinking about her, such a dear little girl. On to better things then - wonderful!
