Michigan, 10 month old B/T male, Owner surrender (adopted)

The vet clinic I work at recently took in a 10 month old male black/tan pup. The owner left the dog at his parents house and left the state. They are an older couple and could not handle this big boy. He weighed in at about 78 pounds today. After a few days in a run at the clinic I felt bad and took him home today LOL. He needs a good home, preferably with GSD experience, and someone who would want to do some training. He is a happy boy and would probably have a great time doing obedience or rally! He does know sit and down but that is about it I think. I put one of my pinch collars on him to take him home and he was very respectful and did not pull. My daughter, who is 7 years old, walked him this evening when we took all 4 for a walk. I was very impressed. He seems to love attention and just melts if you give him some pets or scratch his chest. He is up to date on shots and on hwp, but is not neutered yet. Please contact me if you are interested, or know someone who is! I am happy to answer any questions to the best of my knowledge.

I am with a GS Rescue in Chicago. I am looking for a male like this. I have 2 famlies who want to adopt a male under 1 year who are repeat adopters from us. How far are you from Chicago? What part of Michigan?

We are a little bit north of Detroit. It would be 4-5 hours from Chicago.

Arrangements will be made to have him neutered before adoption. His hips and elbows have been xrayed and look good!

He is a beautiful sweet looking dog. I am happy to have read that you already have a rescue group that may be able to place him right away.

Aaarg! I have to stop looking at these posts when I can't help (I am at the legal limit or my city with regard to number of pets). He looks gorgeous, hope he finds the right forever family!
