Howell, MI LCAC Franka #1540 9yrs o/s
This is Franka. She has been used for repeated breedings and has had many c-sections.
She is 9 years old and is a lovely, sweet girl. She has not been well taken care of (her nails were so long they were starting to curl) but was a house dog that lived with cats. She has been good with other dogs but didn't care for a small chihuahua mix that was there. She is super friendly and loves attention.       She has some mamory tumors and some of them (not sure how many) were removed when she was spayed. Livingston County MI - Animal Control - Animal Viewer If you have any questions, please call the shelter at 517 546 2154. Adoption fee is $120 that includes her surgery, vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, rabies tag and license.

Franka is one beautiful girl. Mammary tumors are always a big concern though, and I note they didn't remove them all. Since they are often cancerous, I would hope they would do a biopsy before adopting her out.

you kno the whole issue of being bred over and over and over...just makes me mad. i hope she finds a caring, loving home, where she can safely spend her golden years.

Good News! Franka was adopted yesterday to an older lady who wanted some companionship. Some family (daughter, I think) lives right across the road from her and they all came in together and brought their dog in with them. The dogs hit it off right away and played so well. They were all very happy when they left.
I saw Auk today also. He was in for another heartworm treatment. He looked great and is doing well in his new home.
