Howell, Mi - Eli, #1543 2 yrs (adopted)
     Eli is listed as 2 years old and is an intact male that came in with Auk. He has spent his whole life in a kennel. He does well when he is with Auk but is a bit skittish on his own. He is timid but friendly. You can pick up his feet, check his teeth, ears, etc. without any issues. He takes treats nicely. He is a bit unsure of what is going on right now. The shelter is really full; we have more dogs than kennels which is why he is sharing kennel space with Auk. They both need to get out of there as soon as possible. We haven't had him around other dogs but I can check on that tomorrow. He is also being neutered today. Putting the city and state in the subject line is more helpful than the facility name. I have no idea where Livingston is.

oh my...what a handsome boy!!
 I wish 2 things....1) that I was closer and 2) that getting a 3rd dog was a great idea!

Just sent out an email (will call the shelter first thing Monday) to see if we can drive down to check him out. We are up in Saginaw and about 45 minutes away from him. He sure is a beautiful guy.
