VERY rescue friendly staff, and transport is available - but this shelter doesn't mess around when it comes to euth'ing animals: if they say at any time they mean it. Kind of in a more rural part of Georgia, always full, and lower adoption rate doesn't give them much option.

Still listed, but the site may not have been updated yet. If she was held over she must be special, or they actually have space........ she looks so very sweet,

Still on the shelter website - which is amazing really - so no, she didn't make it out. I have to believe that they absolutely won't keep her past this week though......

Anyone closer who could call and see what the status of this girl is? The same dogs have been listed on Murrays shelter website for nearly 2 weeks now, and given the high kill rate it seems very unlikely that they have all been adopted or are all still alive, Peppa included.

As I suspected the Petfinder list is WAY out of date. The good news is that Peppa was RESCUED on or about 7/29.......no word on where she went, but you have to hope it was a good place. The shelter also listed her as a Dutch Shepherd mix ......
