Sheba German Shepherd Dog Large SENIOR Female URGENT! Sheba was turned in by her owners because they didn't have time for her any longer. Sheba is 11 years old and has been in the same family since she was a puppy. She is a well behaved lady who just needs a place to spend her golden years.

What a lame excuse - how much time do seniors need? Pretty girl, dumped in a kill shelter after 11 years of loyalty...

There's a place in you know where for people like that. It's like taking Grandma down to Nursing Home and dumping her for no good reason or putting her to sleep. Geesh.....

I have spoke to the shelter and have agreed to have her brought up to Woody's Place ~ Senior G Shep Sanctuary, but need volunteer transport at least to the Philly area. I can arrange travel for her the rest of the way north. Any ideas?

There are at least 3 GSD's at this high kill shelter, including a white one.

Fingers and paws crossed here that Sheba makes it out - she so deserves a retirement home with people who will love her.
