Dear Friends,

Here are her observations....I can offer temporary boarding at NICE boarding facility for several weeks in Charleston Sc and Lisa could help pull, get them towards kennel. I ALSO have someone who will PAY PULL FEE for each...
qualified rescuers, please let us hear???
both HEARTWORM NEGATIVE..FULLY VETTED $73...paid BY ANOTHER RESCUER

I visited with this male pup today at the Columbia Animal Shelter. I would estimate him to be under a year. He wanted to do nothing but give kisses and be petted. I have to tell you it literally broke my heart to run my hands over him. He is nothing but skin and bones. This is one of... the worst cases I've seen. He seems great with other dogs, ignored cats and was very loving with people! He has tested negative for heartworms. For $73 the shelter will fully vet him, including microchip. This guy needs to get out of there asap! NSR has no foster homes available. Can anyone please help this beautiful guy? I can help with pull and transport and possibly very temporary hold.
Female:

PLEASE HELP THIS ABANDONED GIRL! I visited with this female German Shepherd today at the Columbia Animal Shelter. She was abandoned by her owners because they were moving. She is such a happy, sweet, affectionate, loving girl! It was difficult to get pics of her because she literally just wanted to be in my lap the entire time! She has definitely been in a home with a family. She knows basic commands and I would bet is housetrained. She has tested negative for heartworms. The shelter will release her fully vetted, including microchip for $73. She is great with other dogs, ignored cats and loves people! I would guess her age to be between 2 and 4 years. NSR has no foster space. She needs to get out of this shelter asap! I will assist with pull, transport and can possibly find a temporary hold for her.

The female is being rescued by the Raleigh GSD group. We are still working on the male.

Default Lil Male's foster...

I am fostering the male for the Raleigh group. I am attaching pictures so people can see what he truly looks like. He also had an embedded collar and is a medical mystery but we are hoping it will just be due to lack of proper nutrition and care! I am amazed by this little guy's willingness to survive! He deserves the best in life after what he has endured for 8 months. I can't believe the callousness of the owner! He should be hunted down and treated just the same! Please pray for my new lil guy he is NOT out of the woods yet! Just trying to get weight on him!

My sentiments exactly! You are doing an awesome job with him, thank you! I don't suppose he has ever experienced this level of kindness.
