York, SC - Mac 5YO - Sweet was Chained/Starved

Mac a 5year old GSD starved to the point of having to eat a puppy. This was in our news 2 weeks ago. He had no food, no doghouse, all he had was a big heavy chain. The vet at the shelter thinks he is a sweetie and really has a soft spot for him. IN fact, he does well around other dogs and even cats from what they have seen, probably since he is NOT STARVING!!!! He is at the York County shelter, SC with the ID#A041263 on Pet harbor His time is very short 8/27. Contact the shelter at 803-628-3190

This is killing me. I can temp foster if necessary for a rescue. Not the best situation but beats the end results. If you need a reference, contact NSR. I have taken care of some gsds in the past for a short period of time for them.

I was told that Mac is going to New Beginnings German Shepherd rescue in South Carolina.
