I agree with dd. Many dogs are not well bred and can be confused with mixes. This girl could very well be one of those dogs. I have not seen this dog in person and I would never label a dog a mix on this board, because I might be contributing to a death. I will leave that decision to moderators.

Athens is a very high kill animal control and I will not be responsible for a death, no matter how small my part in it. What ever this girl is, she stands little chance at surviving, and I think people should remember that.

GSDs come in many coat colors and coat lengths. I have not seen this dog in person and I do not think the others saying she is a mix have either. j/m/o

This dog looks like a GSD to me. She has a beautiful color. She is very pregnant and needs help ASAP. Such a sweet girl. wsumner is right. This is a high killer shelter.
This sweet girl is posted on this board because I believe her to be GS. So..I have seen this dog and I do not carry a DNA kit around..(not that I could). Bottom line is..sweet GS mom to be needs help ASAP.

Gosh she just need a place to give birth and recover. She sounds like a truly sweet, quiet dog...

The shelter told me that she is being pulled by local rescue, did not tell me who.
