that is great news, I would start in the yard, and when you take Sophie to the classes use the same stuff that works for her on Ryder, there is a behaviorist in Evansville I just forget there info and cannot seem to find it online, but the trainer at petsmart might be able to tell ya. I would mainly work on Sit/stay/leave it they are the major ones, ooo and come, heck I use come as a heel command haha I'm weird like that but it works. Maybe if your scared to walk him start with something in the yard that will tire him out, like fetch or flirt pole, you will have to teach give before you can really use the flirt pole well, well teach it like 50% or until your confidant in his Give command. one MAJOR thing in training is make sure YOU have fun, because if you don't then the dog will pick up on it and not want to learn so make it fun for both of you and make the sessions short, I would say like 5-10 mins max but you can do it more than 1 time a day
