You realize you just posted this in an URGENT thread? There are sooo many needing homes...why add to it, does smokey have all the assets that fit the standard, health tests, titles?

I hope Storm finds a rescue to commit~there was no luck getting in touch with the breeder, maybe that could be posted, others may know how to contact them?

I found out about Storm through APBTlove's post on a pit bull forum. I have several SchH contacts and have been spreading the word on Storm.

Shannon, I have someone in Youngstown, OH that is a GSD person that would be willing to foster him. Can you PM me more info, or better yet your email address? Are you on Facebook at all? How far are you willing to help transport?

I called the shelter a few minutes ago and talked to Sandy. There is some interest in Storm via recent phone calls. One call came from a lady who told Sandy that she trains GSDs in Schutzhund. We will wait to see if anyone follows through and will continue to pursue a rescue in the hopes that Storm can get to a home that will know what to do with his working lines heritage. If the lady who expressed interest in Storm for Schutzhund follows through with a visit to the shelter, that also has the potential to be an appropriate placement for him. Keeping fingers crossed.

A friend and regional breed warden with USA sent a message to Kim from Von Hayden the link to Storm just now, hopefully she may be of help. Is she the breeder?

Just what the world needs,more unwanted puppies, that will end up in the shelter or pts. I hope this dog finds the loving and caring home he needs,and not using him for a money maker.

Storm is reported to have come from a breeder in West Virginia. I have tried to make contact with the breeder, however, his land line phone number has been disconnected.
