Been a long time..BlueWinter71. Had to create a new ID. Anyway, cross posting from an email I just received:

Hey guys,
I received this picture, and I am reaching out to see if you can assist this kid at the stokes shelter. He is very sweet, and they held him over in an effort to get him placed.

He is about a year old, but he only has until next Thursday.

Please contact the Stokes County Animal Shelter if you can help him.

Would love to get more info - I am with GSRA out of Raleigh and I could make a plea for him - anyone around to go and temp test?

Is he good with other dogs?
What is his basic temp like?
He looks great in that photo, but does anyone know what his health is like?
Has he had an hw test?

Doc - could you possibly go down and temp test him for us?

Will call shelter in the morning...

According to the shelter, this is a very sweet boy. Poor guy has been in and out of homes but NOT on his account. First owners had to move and couldn't take him with them; second owner couldn't give the needed attention to a young dog because she has a very old dog that requires a lot. The second owner turned him in but still comes to brush and walk him daily. This guy deserves a great home.

Can anyone help him?
