Crossposting an email, I am told she is very urgent:

Subject: Horrible Neglect Case - G. Shep. Been thru H%LL in JAX IL

I can't tell if this dog is 6-8 years old or just so neglected she looks
that way. Beautifully bred, but appears deyhdrated/emaciated, ear tips have been chewed off by flies (still raw), coat matted and she is weak... When she stands - she goes in to that perfect show stack with one leg down/back.

If anyone can nurse her back and give her a shot at a decent life w/some affection please call the Morgan Cty. Animal Control in Jacksonville IL (1/2 hr west of
Springfield) and tell them to hold her (there is usually partial
transport available).

Why do people do this, just like the poor guy from florida Jericho.

Can someone help her before it is to late again. she looks so sweet.
