Default Trainers in Cincinnnati, OH

I'm at a point with Baxter where I need some help. More than anything, I need someone to tell ME what I'm doing wrong - he's a smart boy, he's a great dog...but I'm not effectively communicating with him what is acceptable, what is expected, etc.

I went to Queen City Dog Training for a while, and he did great initially...but then he started getting DA (maybe leash aggression? I'm not certain), and we had to be separated from the class, and it was hard to move forward when focusing so much on that without actually addressing the real problem. They were wonderful people...but I don't feel that they helped me to solve Baxter's issues.

I've just started to put some serious thought into returning to training, whether it be group, individual, or a combination of both. I know the Pet Athletic Club offers training, but I know next to nothing about them.

Does anyone have experience with trainers or training centers here in the Cincinnati area? I want to help Baxter to learn and grow, and to ensure that we have a solid relationship between us. I need someone to train ME.

Are you on South or North side of Cinci? On the south side, there is a trainer in Verona as well as SCH clubs there.

I'm up north, so it looks like Verona would be a good drive to get to.

Thank you! I'm more interested in training for a well-balanced, happy dog. Not necessarily SchH, if that helps.

I checked out Pet Athletic Club last night, and they may be a good fit...though pricey.

If anyone has any other suggestions for trainers in Cincinnati, it would be greatly appreciated! Primarily, I am looking to build upon the basics that we already have..but proofing them, since he is NOT always responsive, as he used to be. I am also looking for help to deal with DA, and issues with barking/going nuts when in the car.
