Hey Everyone!
I have seen a few threads on here about trainers out in the valley, but are there any good ones on the Westside, 310 area? How much does good training usually cost? I have my 16 week old girl enrolled in the "I Said Sit!" puppy class with Jonathan Klein but I'm not really loving it. He's not raw diet friendly since he says it makes it too hard to find treats (really? I should compromise the health of my dog and feed her junk kibble to make it easier to find treats???) and when asked about feeding guidelines he went off on a huge tangent about how feeding amounts are set by the trust fund babies of stock brokers looking to make money by insisting that people feed their dogs too much. While I do agree that some feeding guidelines are off, I don't see any giant conspiracies O_O It's only a puppy class so I can't expect it to include too much obedience training but I really would appreciate some, especially since Milou already knows some of the very basics and I'd like to reinforce them instead of almost making her unlearn them. Training Wishes (Eventually lol): - Good solid sit, down, stay and come in distracting environments - Good leash walking manners, no pulling - While she has potty training down, she sometimes leaks a few drops when she's REALLY excited. This might be a puppy thing that she just needs to outgrow. - Reinforcement of her already good no teething/jumping - NO chasing our cats! Thanks everyone My grandma will be coming to visit in August/September and since she's on a lot of blood thinners, I really want to make sure Milou doesn't scratch/pull/jump/teethe etc. on her.
