Default Drinking water

This isn't exactly about my pups feeding habits. I think he's pretty good on that. But when we are home and have him out we keep a bowl of water out at all times. He's constantly drinking. Each time he goes to the water bowl he seems to be drinking quite a bit each time. Is this normal? He's just over 3 months old.

I let mine drink as much as he wants, except I cut him off at about 9 PM.

I would try to measure how much he is drinking and then discuss with vet. If he is diabetic, he will drink alot.

We keep him inside, except to potty. So it's pretty much always 77 at max. We don't have many windows and the ones we do have solar screens on them.

My girl will polish off a whole large bowl of water no problem after about 30 mins of fetch in this Texas heat i fell like i have to slow her down sometimes because she just gulps it down... Then dribbles it all through the house lol.

Mine drinks a lot as well. Especially with how hot it is here in Texas. Dog on dry food will also drink a lot. Since he's on Pro Plan it could be a food thing. Many dogs I know on Pro Plan are really big drinkers. The Pro Plan food itself tastes really salty for a dry dog food, so that could be a reason. I've tried many dry foods and it's just something I've noticed.

I fill a 1 gallon bowl at least 4-5x a day! My two dogs love their water and it is summer so I keep their bowl full. I have to cut Sinister off by 8pm or he doesn't sleep through the night without a potty break!
