Default Am I doing it right?

Thor is 6 months old and weighs around 32 lbs. I am feeding him merrick grain free, and I am giving him about 3 cups a day. Does this seem like enough? Is it to much? I want to be sure he is getting all the nutrition he needs.

How short is he? Is he naturally on the smaller side? 32 pounds for a six month old seems a bit small. Just make sure it's because he's short, not extremely thin.

i'm not an expert but my dogs are small. our 1.5 year old female that's tiny at 60lbs was 39lbs at 4.5 months and our now 4.5 month old male is pretty short and he's 45lbs.

we live in an upper floor apartment and purposely looked for dogs with non giant parents. we didn't want 2 bears walking around.

He is a bit smaller. I keep an eye on his ribs, and they are appropriate (not sticking out, but not covered in fat :P). He seems pretty proportional. Though he is putting on more weight, I am starting to have a hard time lifting him. Going to need to weigh again.
