Default Feeding enough??

My pup is now 10.5 weeks old. He is getting fed 3 cups per day. Judging by these pictures do you think I should up his food or keep it as is?

These were the best pics I could get with one hand trying to keep him still and the other taking the picture.

Thanks!

Our Shepherd pup is just a few weeks older and may actually be slightly thinner looking. With the breeders recommendation we keep her bowl with high quality food all the time, she eats as much as she wants, when she wants. We actually mix some puppy with adult food, dry.

As with most, it's healthier on the lean side. It takes a little getting used to compared to a Lab type body/puppy shape too, they are on the lean side.

I couldn't let my pup eat as much as he wants whenever he wants, he'd go through a bag of food a day lol.

He looks fine, as long as you can feel ribs and see a nice tuck in the belly then you're good. It's better for them to be on the lean side while growing anyways You'll probably have to adjust the amount several times, my rule of thumb was to adjust by a 1/2 cup as needed either up or down

Our pup looked almost identical at that age. I was concerned he wasn't eating enough and started leaving his bowl down longer and more often.

He is 16 weeks tomorrow and his bowl the past few days has been down almost 100%. He eats until he gets full and stops. He does not seem to gorge or over eat.
