When do I switch my puppy's food to adult food?

Personal preference. You can start them out on adult, use an all stage, switch them at a year, switch at 6 months. Up to you. If you are feeding a large breed puppy, there's not THAT much different between it and adult.

I agree it's personal preference I feed puppy food until one year then switch them to a ALS

I just switched from large puppy (blue buffalo) to adult kibble (acana). Is it normal to be feeding way less adult food?

When he was on blue buffalo it recommended 4-5 cups a day, acana is 2.5-3.5 cups a day. Jackson is 8 and 1/2 months old, if that makes a difference. He's 65 lbs, vet has no concerns about his weight or size.
