Puppy can't get enough food...

I have an approx 5.5 month old German Shepherd Mix who cannot get enough food. He is getting his recommended daily amount plus some and it just isn't enough. He goes after my other dogs food... He has tried to exert some self control and then he just looses it. He has to be about 40-50 lbs He's definitely not under nor over weight... Any suggestions? Just feels like he may eat us out of house and home at this point. I mean, if the walls were edible he would eat those too.

How much are you feeding and what food is it?
