better quality food then switch to raw
So a lot of you might remember all the problems i had finding a food that didn't give Sage the runs. I finally put her on natural balance sweet potato and bison formula. an Lid. I'm not sure if it was chicken or what that didn't agree with her. My question is i want to get her on a better quality food since the bulk of what she eats now is potato filler. So do you guys have any suggestions on what i could switch her too? Maybe orijen or acana? Probably something with allot of the same ingredients. Eventually i want to switch over to raw, but i know nothing about it. I'm going too start doing more research on it. So do you guys have any books or something that would be good to start reading and learning?
Thanks for the help! |

You may already be aware of these, but just in case, here's a few links.
Dog Food Forum Dog Food Reviews and Ratings | Dog Food Advisor We are feeding Natures Variety turkey lid for now. We have started adding some raw for their evening meal, but no bones yet. I thought I read kibble fed dogs may have trouble due to stomach acid/alkaline issues. So I'm a little reluctant. |

Check out Pioneer Naturals grain free until you can do raw. It's a very very decent food. And it's not as expensive as Orijen. It's high-quality stuff.
