Changing food- random poop
Silly question. We are mixing my dogs puppy food with adult food. He was fine on the puppy food- but now he has random poop accidents- like he doesn't know it's coming until its out. I guess the adult food passes through instantly- will that calm down?
Anyone experience this? It's solid at least!  thank goodness!

Adult people food or dog food?
He may just not be getting along with the new food, and it stimulates him to eliminate. People are a bit like that as well, at times.. I would slowly add the new diet, and try another brand if he is reacting to adult dog food... If you mean People Adult food, a lot of that is not good for him, wheat variations and so on can cause an allergic reaction.. Personally I have gone on mostly a raw meat diet, and it has saved my 10 year old GSD. He has been going down hill for at least the past year, only one month on raw and he is making a comeback.. My pup is thriving on it. I have put a Testimonial on it in the BARF RAW section of this Forum. |
