Hope the title caught someones attention because im really lost. My vet confused me and the people at pets at home didnt know any better
Im feeding kai kibble, a high quality brand. On the food it says i should be feeding kai 450g a day (following all the right thing, age, estimated weight ect) But i just realised we are feeding him 800g a day. 400g a meal morning and evening. He weighs 30kg give or take and does not seem to be over weight. He is 8 months old any advise? |

I agree with swharshbar. Since your dog is doing fine, leave him at that. An 8 month old is still growing. But you did say your vet confused you - does the vet think your dog should be eating less or more? If I were you, I would ask the vet for a clarification.
