Should I change his food?

History.. current age 1 yr 4 months old.. Started on blue buffalo large breed puppy. stopped bec of soft poop.. changed to wellness large breed and again soft stool. But I finally figured out that the soft poop with the wellness food was very likely caused by best bullysticks. Now that the bullies are no longer given the poop is excellent.. ( poop went bad within 4 hours of a bullystick. ) After not figuring out why the poop was so poor during the time he was given the bullies, vet said to switch to blue buffalo salmon and potatoe. Now that I know it wasnt the food causing the soft poop, should I stick with the salmon and sweet potatoe basic food or change to a higer quality food?

I use to feed Blue Buffalo and only switched from it because one of mine has allergies. If your pup is doing well on it, then stick with it if you like.

I feed my pups authority chicken formula, poop seems pretty regular now.

I just started my on Blue Buffelo Wilderness grain free for puppies suppose to be better than Royal Canin she's been eating for 4 months... will see. I want to go raw though just need to research all the details.
