I feed my 55lb 4 1/2 month GSD pup two pack of Naturediet a day, one in the morning and one at night. He gets half a carrot a day too as he is teething and it soothes his gums, he also gets about a cup of Orijen while training. Do you think this is enough food?.

You have to look at your pup's body condition because they are all different. If your pup is too thin, then feed more. If he's too fat, feed less. If he's nice and lean, he's getting what he needs.

My 7 and a half month old pup calls for 4.5 to 5 cups a day.. She get close to six and still is on the thin side. I give her more but she just leaves it in her dish. Vet says don't worry about it. Puppies burn a lot of calories, like us humans when young.
