Should I switch his food?

I have had Atlas on Orijen Large Breed Puppy for 3 weeks now. The breeder had him on Blue Wilderness for puppies and i slowly swiched him to the Orijen. For the past week or so his stools have started to get looser (half firm/half watery), our vet had me to up his food to almost 2 cups a day. Should I wait to see if things level out or switch him to a new food that maybe isnt as rich? Norrmally I would just wait but I can not buy the Orijen where I live and had to order it over the internet and its almost time to reorder. I want to feed him the best I can but i dont want him to suffer from loose stools because of it. Thanks for your help!!! You guys have been great!
