Default Raw Diet just once a day

I was trying to feed my 15 week GSD pup kibble in the morning and raw at night, but she doesn't eat the kibble all day and waits till I get home at night for her raw meal. So she pretty much eats once a day. Just raw. Is this good?

No, a young pup should eat 2 meals a day...
at that age I had just reduced to 2 x's/ before that my dogs were on 3'x a day(rawfed)

Raw goes thru the system faster than kibble, I'm surprised your pup isn't barfing bile from being empty for so long. What kibble are you feeding and what is the portion size of the raw? Are you feeding a premade raw or RMB,MM,OM that you portion out yourself?

I feed her Innova for large breed pups. Which she doesn't touch! and with the raw I portion it myself, it comes out to be 1lbs sometimes 1.5. I'm thinking i should just go full raw and split it between the morning and night.

Thats what I'd do! Make sure you portion enough for her growth spurts. One other option would be to mix in some raw green tripe with the kibble if you want her to stay on it. Most dogs will eat tripe readily. Or scrambled cooked egg mixed in is usually never refused.

I feed Bravo raw with a rotation of kibble and he will turn his nose up at the kibble. I add raw green tripe to the kibble and he of course will eat it.

I think dogs do much better being fed 2x's a day.

Stark from VERY EARLY on only wanted to eat once per day.

He is raw fed.

I would OFFER the food several times per day (3) without any lucky until close to bedtime.

Now at almost 3 years old, he only eats once per day, usually at night.

Zefra my 9 month old will eat all day long if I let her.. lol. She is fed twice per day, morning and night.

The green tripe is really hard to find. All the local butchers already have to processed ones But i've been doing pretty good on the organs, meat and bone ratio

Thanks a lot guys. I'm gonna try splitting her raw meal to 2x a day. Coz She just loves it too much! So in this case I might as well go 100 percent raw

This is the tripe we use. I am very lucky we have a quality dog food store in the area that carries it. Not sure if an on-line order is an option for you?
