I don't feed the puppy food (he's got weak pasterns), so he's on lamb and rice. i feed 3 cups a day, 3x a day. this keeps him full enough that he doesn't pretend like he's starving all the time.
I LOVE it. His poops are firm, he only poops about 3 times a day (four if we go on a really long walk, and even then, that poop is very squishy). His coat is nice and soft...I like it. |

The quantities listed on the bags are general guidance. The actual amount needed will depend on your puppies activity level, size, metabolism, etc. They should eat all of the food you put down, when you put it down and they should not be fat or overweight, that is for you to determine. The variety of food matters as well, as some are more rich than others.
