Default Total Calcium vs Percent Calcum

Beau is getting the Fromm LBP Gold

1.3% Ca, 1.0%P 400 calories per cup
All 35 lbs of him at 17 weeks is digesting it well with firm stools and the vet thinks I should up him from 4 cups to 5 (All ribs visible she would like to see just the back ones)

WOW that is 2000 calories a day of low ash good quality food for a 35lb pup. He is a busy little thing. We have to play fetch games every few hours to keep him from climbinb the walls.

I plan to move him to the regular puppy gold at a little higher protein and fat and the same ca and P or 430 calories per cup.

-----------------

This is a lot more food than the label. Should I be concerned about calcium. I know the Innova is lower in ca and p but it is also considerably lower in overall calories so I imagine it would all be the same.
