I am new to the site but wanting to get some information on my German Shepherd. Kona is 8 months old female will be 9 months on Sept 14th. She weighs right around 58-60lbs right now. My only concern is she eats well, but her ribs are showing a bit, not terrible, but more than I like. is this normal for her age because they are so active right now? Please advise thanks alot

They are all a bit on the lean side (take a look at a few threads down about the skinny GSD).

Mine is also showing some rib @ 7 months although it's more because she's had diarrhea on/off for a little while now.

I'd say if you wanted to add 5lbs to her, it wouldn't hurt. Maybe just add an extra 1/4 cup per feeding and see how she does.
