Default Puppy Food

So I just got my White GSD! His name is Bentley! He's 8 weeks old!

I'm just wondering whats type of dog food do y'all recommend?
I've heard Wellness is good, BB, Innova, Acana, Orijen.
I'm really confused.
Whats the right amount of Calcium and Phosphorus is it suppose to have?

Also is Omega-3 really good for him?

Diamond Naturals
Wellness Super mix 5
Innova Large breed puppy (purple bag)
Merrick Wilderness blend
Holistic Giant and large breed puppy
Blue Buffalo chicken and rice (blue/pink bag)

I have used all of these and our dogs loved them all. We tend to buy two different types and mix both on each meal. On the Merrick I should have bought the "puppy plate" but wasn't aware of it. No harm no foul.

You'll need to find of what your breeder is feeding the puppies and stick with that for at least a few weeks while your pup adjusts to his new surroundings. Then, if you decide to switch to a different food, just be sure to make a slow transition by mixing the old food in with the new for at least a week or two. Puppies have very sensitive systems and if you suddenly switch your pup to a totally new food that he isn't used to, it can cause digestive upset. A lot of breeders and owners don't even feed puppy food. Our breeder recommends switching to adult food when the pup is around 4 months old. GSDs are a large breed, so they need to grow slowly to reduce the risk of developing hip and other orthopedic problems later in life. We have all 3 of our dogs on Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach and they do amazingly well on it. (BTW: None of our dogs have skin or stomach issues. We just like the ingredients and it makes their coats look awesome.)
