I am wanting to get into a club/get involved with Gun but not quite sure how to go about doing so. I know that there is the Lexington Kennel Club, but was wondering what people in the area are doing. Never done something like this so not quite sure what to do.

I probably would be interested in obedience, agility and rally. Not sure about AKC/UKC/SV and not sure on rules about dogs being registered. Gunner was adopted and I am wanting to get him registered PAL/ILP since he is 100%.

Lexington Kennel Club is probably your best resource for AKC events like ob/agility/rally.
If you are up for some traveling, I recommend: Trisha Koetter is in Floyds Knobs IN - agility/rally Carol Knight in Mt. Washington KY agility/ob Shamrock Acres in Anchorage ob/agility |

You won't be able to show, but you can still participate in IPO sports. But I saw on your other thread that you are having him evaluated as a therapy dog - some programs don't allow dogs that have had bite work training in their therapy group so decide on what you want to do and you can plan accordingly.
