IKC Chicago Dog Show

It's that time again... The IKC dog show cluster (benched AKC show) is this weekend. Is anyone going, or have a dog who will be showing this weekend?

Cluster info: Thursday is the Park Shore Kennel Club show, Friday Blackhawk Kennel Club, Saturday is IKC benched show and Sunday is unbenched.

Yes I will be going, I am hoping to talk to the Beauceron people there so I'll be going on Saturday when it is benched.

Beauceron - interesting breed. Reminds me of a bit of a Dobe, as there is the ear question: European style (natural ears) or American (upright ears with the help of plastic surgery). I wondered when you mentioned in another thread about looking at other breeds. Yes - please let us know how it goes. Have fun!

Yeah I have been researching them, so hopefully I can talk to some breeders at the show.

Wow, I didn't know they came in that color! That is a like a short coat version of the blue merle Aussie. Though I do like their regular colors also. I also like the straight back and size, and that they have a natural tail. From what I have read, they do seem to have a similar temperament to GSDs. It is great you will be able to actually to meet them and talk to the breeders.

I'll be there Saturday with one of the Crested puppies I co-own. We show around 11:00, I think it's ring 5. We will be benched so if you can stop by the Crested area and look for us!

Lauri I will definitely look for you! I am interested in seeing the Cresteds too, that is another breed I've been looking at for the future.
