Allentown, PA - Saturday 9/29/12, Canine Cancer Walk!
The Bruiser Memorial 5K | Running for Canine Cancer Research
Date: Saturday, September 29, 2012 Start Times: Runners – 9:00am (we love dogs, however due to insurance reason we can not allow dogs in the running event) Walkers – 9:10am Dogs are welcome! Special Note: Rabies certificate or tag on the day of race is required. NO EXCEPTIONS! Location: Lehigh Parkway-Allentown (S. Jefferson & Park Drive). Registration opens at 8 AM Course: 5K course, accurately measured, mostly flat, cinder trail in the Parkway. Awards: Top Male and Female plus 3 deep in following age groups: 13 and under 14-18 19-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60+ Entry Fee: $25.00 if received by September 22, 2012. After Sept. 21st inc. day of race $30.00 while t-shirts last $20.00 when they are gone. Online registration closes on September 24th, 2012 at midnight. Directions From East or West: Route I-78 to exit 57 take Lehigh Street North ramp and merge onto Lehigh Street. Turn Left onto S. 12th Street which becomes S. Jefferson Street, park entrance will be on your left, turn into the park and follow road for appox. 1 mile to the LVRR Clubhouse on your left, if needed you can map quest the address 1205 S. Jefferson, Allentown, PA which is directly across from the park entrance. From Rt. 22 exit 145S/Macarthur Road toward 7th Street, turn right onto W. Union St. then left onto S 8th St. then right onto Lehigh St., then right onto Lehigh Parkway, park entrance is at S. Jefferson & Park Drive. Timing by Pretzel City Sports, Reading, PA.
