Default Performance and conformation clinic

Wanna run with the big dogs??? Now's your chance, Oct. 5, 6, & 7, it will be all about Working Performance dogs with a dash of conformation thrown in. We are offering the most complete clinic on dog competitions ever held at one time. Though the emphasis will be on the performance side we will hold special classes for handlers wanting to learn how to show and get the most out of their dog.

Friday night Richard Mullens, who began his dog career over twenty years ago as an AKC handler and competitor with Rottweiler's, will give a handlers class for all interested in sharpening their handling skills. We will also hold a mock trial so all the handlers can get the feel of judging. That's right we will put you in the judges seat and give every one a chance to feel the heat of judging dogs.

We are fortunate to be affiliated with the C3 registry for this weekend. C3 is striving to give all dog owners and breeds the activities and opportunities needed to make each dog all it can be. They have implemented an Obedience and Protection dog title, so every one can prove the true worth of their dog. To create more opportunities for people to hold OB & Protection trials we will also hold a judges clinic Friday night so C3 can begin to have qualified judges available for future conformation shows.

Sat. Oct 5, we will hold clinics and training sessions in Obedience and in starting Protection training. Our goal is to have a few, if not all, ready to trial for an Obedience title that afternoon, and to give every one the fundamentals required of a true Personal Protection dog. We will then hold an actual Obedience and a Protection trial for any wishing to earn a title on their C3 registered dog.

Sunday will be a day of training for all Protection and Obedience work

PS. for those that have thought about entering the Texas Get Together, here's your chance to be prepared to make your best run at it, with a little tune up just before the big show.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
