We just moved to Waco, TX from a very small town and are eagerly looking for something to get involved in. We are looking into some more advanced obedience classes for Franks but I also want to do something fun for him and for me. I am unfamiliar with the area and surrounding areas so any suggestions for clubs that are open to novices or just some great activities/classes with a good group of people would be greatly appreciated. I don't mind traveling at all as long as it is a reasonable enough distance that we can be active participants...an hour, give or take? Thanks everyone in advance.

We're a couple of hours east but I know there's an agility club called Waco Agility Group [WAG] and a AKC kennel club called Cen-Tex, they do conformation and obedience. There's a big herding facility called End Gate Ranch in Ferris. That's all I can think of off the top of my head, you'll have to do some googling to find more. I'll ask around at my club and see if I can find something more
