You can also try lure coursing ("fun runs" for a small fee) and possibly dock diving. In the past they've opened up the practice dock for $5. Usually they have good vendors at this show. I don't think you have to pay to watch, just pay the parking fee.
Non-competing/entered dogs are not allowed on the grounds. Owners of entered dogs need to be familiar with each host club's rules regarding the behavior of the dogs and what collars/leashes are allowed on the grounds (most host clubs do not allow training tools such as pinch/prong collars, head halters, harnesses, etc).

I think you should, Mary! I am going for the vendors and will try to see Lies and Nikon in their dock diving, lure coursing endeavors. Amazing the amount of white GSD's I see at this event. Bringing my camera for sure!

I saw a Georgia plate on a red Vibe(if I remember the make right) with shepherd stickers on it, thought of you, Mary! Fun to see how people came from everywhere in the US for this event.
I didn't get many pics, my hands were too busy! |

GREAT event! We had a blast! Nikon earned two new titles and I stocked up on dog supplies (crate pails and snaps, crate mats, poop bags, chews, a bag/carrier for my toys and grooming tools...). We spent so much time doing outdoor events, I only got indoors to use the bathroom!

That was my friend. Apparently she had 5 GSDs in that car. Her homebred female went BOB yesterday and today I think.
