We are looking for meetups to socialize our 10 week old GSD
We live in Marshall (30 min out of Sedalia) and are looking for something that is not too far. I have looked into Columbia but just wanted to see if there is anything closer. Thanks, Lauren and Hugo |

Thats why I am looking for a really good one now, but I don't want to pay $1000 but I would pay anything under that

I am not really looking at price for my next GSD I am more so looking for a quality breeder. Most times you are going to pay between $1,000 and $1,800. Any I have seen under that in Mo are usually BYB and puppy mills.
Since you have such a long time before getting your new pup, I would say to just start saving money here and there and you will be amazed how fast your GSD fund grows At least that is what I did. Although I only paid $50 for Hugo. But the down side to that is I have no idea what the temperment of his parents are and I have no idea what his health history is. I might end up spending WAYYYY more in the future on his medical bills than I would have if I just went to a good breeder. That is something else to think about. Most breeders that I have seen give a health guarantee and that is something I will be looking for next time we buy a pup. Rescues are always full and they don't charge too much for a pbgsd, and they do temperment testing There are tons of things to consider when buying a new pup. Just remember that it is a life long commitment so you want to do your homework on the breed and the breeders I could not have asked for a better pup but we just got lucky... next time I will be using more than luck

Missourian myself
Did a quick glance on bing and boy there really seems to be nothing close, at least that advertises on the internet, for you to go to except Columbia. Columbia is nice though Holler if you ever plan on going further south on Hwy 63!
