I had never heard about this show actually. Just knew about the UConn K9 olympics, which was great!
PS: The XL Center looks good! I think it was still under construction when we lived in CT.

I think mid August. UConn Police hosts it with CT state troopers and DOC. If you remember where the HR department of UConn is, it used to be held near there. Great event, they have participants from all over the country with obstacle courses, protection and obedience sections. I do miss going to that event. And the best thing (from my standpoint), all GSDs!!!

I have been to this show before, actually was entered in it
) when it was held at the hartford armory, and believe me, anyplace other than "that" place has got to be better LOL..It's been at the XL center now, for a few years and I'll bet there is ALOT more space to move around. I'm not sure if unentered dogs are allowed tho.I know when I would go to the armory, they weren't because of the tight quarters. As for the K9 Olympics, been there to,,GREAT FUN, it's on the mansfield campus and it's k9 officers from the new england area competing against each other. They sell great tshirts to ))) I've seen them advertise, (no dogs allowed not entered) but there are tons of people that go and bring their unentered dogs )) and yeppie, usually mid august. Mike, if your looking for some outdoor activites to hit WITH the pooch, check out the agility trial section on www.cleanrun.com site. Beginning in april, there are alot up your way, usually around South Windsor and the glastonbury area. )
