Question Dog Backpacks? Which is the safest?

So today I went to the local pet shops asking about doggy backpacks. One pet shop didn't have any and the other pet shop only used to have them, but they didn't have them anymore. They needed to order some more in. I asked what brands they had and they told me it was Aussie Naturals Dog Backpack. I'm pleased that it's Aussie made - 'coz I am an Aussie!

However, my main concern is that is it safe? I Googled the brand and I initially thought that it might put pressure on the back. Whether it's good or bad pressure, I'm not entirely sure. So what is it like to use? Has anyone here used this particular brand or can you recommend another brand? I am keen to hear everyone's personal opinions about them!

I looked a Leerburg, but I was directed to go to Rayallen.com/ by a K-9 handler. Good luck going their, it's like a candy store. The harnesses have Velcro to attach packs, camera's, flashlights, ect., evenly distributed weight, where and when you want it. I am not shopping Leerburg for essentials anymore after finding where the pros go..

They have cooling fans for crates and tempeture alerts, if the crate goes above a certain temp.

You will enjoy that one, have your credit card handy, they don't sell this stuff at pet stores..

Thanks for the reply! It does have a lot of cool things. I better restrain myself, haha.

I love the Ruffwear Approach packs. I actually have two for sale right now, a Medium in blue and a large in green.

The Aussie naturals pack is very breathable. That is why I like it. We use it for our SD.

Oooo... I was brave, I went there for quick peek. I really like the backpacks! I just ordered a couple of things from Leerburg for our IPO training, and am about to purchase a saddle so I have to practice restraint.

Thanks for the rec, though!
